Yes. FoodZen currently delivers pre-made meals throughout Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge on Wednesdays from 2:00–5:30 PM. We also offer pickup from our kitchen at 12 Queen Street East in Cambridge on Wednesdays from 2:00–5:30 PM.

FoodZen meals start at $14.67 per serving with a subscription. Individual, couple, family and large-family serving sizes are available. Subscriptions save 20% and can be skipped, paused or cancelled anytime.

Yes. A 2% delivery fee applies to pre-made meal deliveries throughout Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge. Pickup is available at no charge from our kitchen at 12 Queen Street East in Cambridge. If the delivery fee creates a financial barrier, please contact info@foodzen.ca. We may be able to help.

No, you do not need to be home when we deliver your pre-made meals. If you are not home, we ask that you leave out a cooler for us to put the food in. If you do not have a cooler, please let us know and we will provide you with a cooler bag that is reusable.

Yes! We deliver to apartments and condo buildings throughout our delivery area. Our driver will text you when they are approximately 2-5 minutes away. If you're able to, we ask that you meet your driver at the main entrance of your building.
If you won't be home or are unable to come down, please make sure we can access the building remotely or arrange an alternate drop-off option with us in advance. Our drivers are unable to wait for building access, so having a delivery plan in place helps us keep our Wednesday delivery route on schedule.

Our Individual bundle includes 1 serving of each meal selected, Couple includes 2 servings, Family includes 4 servings and Large Family includes 6 servings. To reduce packaging waste, meals may be packaged together rather than as individual servings.

Each serving includes approximately 5 oz of meat or meat substitute, 5 oz of vegetables and 3–4 oz of a grain or starchy vegetable. These portions are consistent across our menu, including soups and salads, although some meals may look smaller when ingredients are chopped, combined or puréed. For salads, lettuce is additional and does not count toward the 5 oz vegetable portion.

Yes. FoodZen offers individual, couple, family and large-family serving sizes. Our meals are sold by serving size, so family meals aren't individually packaged into separate portions.

FoodZen meals are prepared fresh each week and delivered fully cooked and ready to heat. Most stay fresh in the refrigerator for approximately 3-6 days, and many can also be frozen for later.

Many FoodZen meals are naturally gluten-free and dairy-free, and our weekly menu identifies available dietary options. FoodZen is not a dedicated gluten-free facility, so customers with allergies should review the menu information carefully before ordering.

Yes, FoodZen offers 2-3 vegetarian options on our pre-made meal menu each week. We do not currently offer vegan options through our weekly pre-made meal service. For customers looking for vegan meals or meals customized to specific dietary needs, our in-home Personal Chef service can accommodate most diets and preferences.

FoodZen's weekly pre-made meals offer limited customization on select menu items, such as choosing tofu instead of chicken or selecting available sides. These options will be listed on the weekly menu. Beyond these choices, we cannot accommodate additional substitutions. For more customized dietary needs, our in-home Personal Chef service can accommodate most diets.

FoodZen favours real, whole ingredients with minimal processing. Many of our meals are naturally dairy-free and gluten-free, and we offer 2-3 vegetarian options each week. All ingredients are listed on our weekly menu.
Our pre-made meals cannot be customized beyond the substitutions and side options offered on the menu. For more specific dietary needs or allergies, our in-home Personal Chef service can accommodate most diets.

Please note: At this time, we are unable to accommodate specific religious dietary practices, such as Kosher and Halal.

In an effort to reduce waste, your meals will come in 1 or 2 containers depending on the bundle you selected. This means if you order 3 meals family size, you will receive each meal in 1 container with 4 servings in each instead of 12 individual meals.

Visit our FoodZen Kitchen page and select Order Now. Enter your postal code, choose your serving size and delivery date, then select the meals and available sides you'd like. You can choose a one-time order or subscription before completing checkout.

A new menu is released each Friday. Orders close Sunday at 5 PM for Wednesday delivery or pickup.

Yes. FoodZen subscriptions save 20% compared with one-time ordering. You can skip weeks, pause your subscription or cancel anytime.

To make your meal selections, log in to your account and go to the Orders tab. Click on Details beside the upcoming delivery week to expand your order and click on Choose Meals. NOTE - If you don't see any orders, your Subscription may be on pause. Go to the Subscriptions tab and click on Details to expand your subscription and click Resume to unpause your subscription.

Yes, you can go from 3 meals to 5 meals or vice versa by logging into your account and going to the subscription tab. Click edit. 

Yes, you can update your bundle size by logging into your account and going to the subscription tab. Click edit.

Yes, you can skip a week or several by logging into your account and going to the Skip Days tab. Choose the dates you would like to skip. 

Meal selections are due on Sundays by 5:00 pm. FoodZen knows that life gets busy and sometimes unexpected circumstances happen. If we do not receive your meal selections by Sunday at 5:00 pm, we will not automatically select them for you. Instead, we will skip the week on your behalf and not charge you for that week.

For our pre-made meal delivery service, you can cancel your subscription anytime. You can cancel your subscription by logging into your account, going to the Subscription tab and click Unsubscribe.

A new pre-made meal menu is posted every Friday on our website and social media channels. Orders and meal selections are due Sunday at 5:00 PM for Wednesday delivery or pickup. Personal Chef menus are customized to each client's tastes and dietary needs.

For our pre-made meal delivery service, FoodZen meals are prepared in our certified commercial kitchen space at 12 Queen Street East, Cambridge. For FoodZen's personal chef service, the food is prepared in your home.
